Cleaning Your Screen

Please follow the steps below to minimize the chance of damage to the monitor while cleaning.

  1. Never clean the screen when it is switched on or when it is plugged in. Turn off the monitor and unplug the power cord and input cables. The pixel control transistors cannot withstand pressure when the screen is on.
  2. Never spray liquids directly on the product.
  3. Initially use a slightly damp (water) microfibre cloth. The cloth should be damp, but not soaked.
  4. If the water does not clean the monitor enough, a professional screen cleaner can also be used. However, it must not contain benzene, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, alcohol or acetone. Do not allow these chemicals to come into direct contact with the monitor, as they can visibly damage the screen.
  5. Don't apply too much pressure. Pressing too hard can cause dead pixels, uniformity problems, and light emission problems. Also, please do not use a brush as this can scratch the panel.
  6. Make sure the surface is completely dry before turning the monitor on and plugging in any input cables. No liquid or moisture should be visible on the surfaces of the product.
